Praxar Inc. (“Praxar”) is dedicated to providing the best online business simulations to develop the skills of students and future managers, hereinafter referred to as “students”. To achieve this goal, Praxar strives to develop a constructive relationship with instructors, trainers and their assistants, hereafter referred to as “professors”. Praxar’s digital assets consist of simulations in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing, management and accounting, and of documents, exercises and services.
DECLARATION
Praxar recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected from users of our simulations, which are immersive learning solutions to be integrated into a course outline. Therefore, our general policy is to restrict the use of personal information to those directly involved in the simulation, i.e. professors, students and Praxar support team.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase from praxar.com (the “Site”). The Privacy Statement provides concrete steps to ensure that your personal information is used only to provide the best possible learning experience for students and to provide control of the exercise to the professors.
DEFINITION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
By registering on the Praxar.com Website, professors and students agree to provide personal identification and affiliation information. As part of the use of the simulations, professors can download documents on Praxar’s servers and communicate with the students through the Praxar’s Website. In addition, Praxar collects navigational data and evaluates the performance of each student by means of tests, compositions, etc. All this is considered personal information under the Privacy Statement regarding personal data.
TEACHERS’ PERSONAL INFORMATION
Professors’ personal information is used for the following purposes:
- Validate access to the Praxar suite business simulations:
Interactive simulation for entrepreneurship students
Interactive simulation for management students
Interactive simulation for marketing students
Interactive simulation for accounting students
Immersive simulation for accounting students
- Communicate with professors to provide training or support
- Provide information on changes to business simulations, problem corrections, etc.
- Inform professors about the new simulations in their discipline
- Improve existing simulations and develop new ones to support experiential learning for future managers and students
- Prevent fraud or illegal use of Praxar’s digital assets
Praxar does not share professors’ personal information with third parties for commercial or other purposes. Personal information is only available to Praxar staff.
STUDENT PERSONAL INFORMATION
To register, students must identify themselves and provide information about their group or class. Data about their learning progress is also collected on Praxar’s servers. All of this is considered personal information under the Privacy Statement.
The use of student’s personal information is limited to the following purposes:

Under no circumstances will Praxar contact students to promote its simulation-based education products or services. Personal information about students is only available to Praxar staff.
Trainers have full access to the information of students enrolled in their classes. Praxar has no control over the professors’ use of this information. Most universities and educational institutions have standards of conduct that prevent the illegal or fraudulent use of personal information by their staff. They also prohibit the disclosure of this information to third parties.
PRAXAR SERVERS
Praxar has total control over its servers and respects the industry standards for the protection of personal information against hacking. The servers of Praxar are located in Montreal, Canada.
USE OF COOKIES
The simulations use cookies to personalize the experience of professors and students using these immersive learning services. Cookies are small files that are temporarily created when students log into a simulation and during a work session. Praxar simulations may not function properly if students do not accept cookies. Such cookies are never used to track a user’s browsing activity on Websites other than Praxar.com. They are always destroyed at the end of the work session.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect some information about your device, including your Web browser, your IP address, your time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. In addition, when you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual Web pages or products you visit, the Websites or search terms that brought you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “device information”.
We collect device information using COOKIES.
PAYMENT
A trusted third party processes payments for online license purchases. Praxar does not collect or retain any credit card information during the transaction.
ARCHIVES
The Praxar Collection archives information about a simulation for two years. Professors and students can access this archive with their usual passwords during this period.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
From time to time, Praxar may change the content of its Privacy Policy to bring it up to date with legislation. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the simulations through a Praxar.com account constitutes acceptance of the terms of the amended Policy.

When you place an order through the Site, we keep your order information on file unless and until you ask us to delete it.
